Subway Diablo Chicken Sandwich

The sandwich image was supplied from the client, the art director supplied a composite sketch. I used a jig saw to cut holes in several food trays, and a blow torch to melt the tray, unfortunately when I would attempt to heat the edges, the tray would warp upwards, opposite to the effect I was trying to achieve. I later shot the tray in-house with a Phase One DB and Capture One software. Once the images were processed the retouching began, the steam was added to give the sandwich the sense of being hot.
